When Watch Dogs comes out, I am going to spend at least one playthrough ignoring the character’s real name and backstory. Instead, I will call him Desmond Miles, and this will be the modern-day Assassin’s Creed game that never got made.

Sometimes I feel like a bad fanfic writer.

I don’t mean ‘bad’ in terms of skill. I don’t think I’m the best writer in the world, but I don’t think I’m terrible, either…I mean bad as in bad at keeping to a schedule and doing regular updates.

This is gonna sound completely dumb, but I have this thing I call the ‘Six Chapter Slump’. Basically, I can get up to chapter 6 in any given thing I’m trying to write (usually). But trying to get past chapter 6 is, for some reason, weirdly hard. It’s like hitting a wall where I know what I want to happen and how I want it to happen…but trying to actually make it happen is tough. It’s like having a car stuck in mud, and you know how to get it out, but when you try to get it out you only make minimal progress.

So, that’s sort of what’s going on with Chapter 7 of Sons of Eden.  I’ve been working on it (and I like what I’ve done with it so far), but it’s just…slowly coming out of the mud. I know I’m not crazy popular, but I have 2 or 3 people who, for some reason, like my stupid little story (and I’m very grateful to those 2 or 3 people! You guys are awesome!). So, I thought I should let them know what’s going on. I haven’t quit the fic, and I am working on it. I’ll get an update up…eventually. I just don’t know when, so bear with me!

Here’s one thing I can tell you about chapter 7, though! :D We’re gonna get to see more of Johnson. I love writing Johnson, he’s just a grade A douchenozzle and it’s terrific. There’s some other OCs too, and I love em, and I hope you guys do too.
